Dear students at SRH,
dear students in any of our partner universities all over the world,

What is culture? How does my own cultural imprint influence my thinking and my actions? How can I gain intercultural awareness?


Are you looking for an opportunity to network across the world and still meet new people despite the travel restrictions? Are you interested in tasting different foods and learn more about other cultures? Has your semester or project abroad been cancelled and you are in need of an extra 2 CP? Make your own intercultural experience portfolio and gain 2 CP towards your academics.


The programme „Interaction Across Cultures“ is a blend of 5 virtual meetings in duration of 4 hours each and 10 tasks that you have to work on in your own time (see attached course description) between 16 February 2021 – 16 March 2021, times are in CET.


Assessment

Students will document and reflect on each task in an individual portfolio. This portfolio should contain:

• Personal description of the experience
• Personal reflection of the experience and the theory learned in class
• Pictures, possibly graphs and videos to underline the experience


Assessment format

Students can freely and creatively decide what kind of format they would like to choose: it can be a pdf document (about 5 pages, including pictures), a video, PowerPoint presentation, poster gallery etc. The format needs to be discussed with the instructor beforehand.
