Description
In this course, the student will acquire complete knowledge of the Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) circuits. The content of the course includes the following: analysis and operation of semiconductor elements, CMOS manufacturing process, static/dynamic CMOS design, power consumption on integrated circuits, power minimization techniques, circuit interconnection, synchronization in digital integrated circuits, introduction of CAD design and simulation tools and performance validation of the VLSI circuits.
