Description

Network Management Areas (ISO) and Network Management software components: Structure of Management Information (SMI), Management Information Base (MIB), Management of data preparation Language ASN.1, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Network security targets and related attacks. Network Security Protocols (Keys establishment protocols, Authentication protocols, Confidentiality protocols, Data integrity protocols).  Safety of the TCP/IP architecture: Physical layer (FHSS, DSSS), Network Access layer (EAP, EAPoL, EAP-TLS), Internet layer (IPsec, VPNs), Transport layer (SSL / TLS), Application layer (email, Web). Security in wireless networks (WLANs) (authentication, confidentiality, integrity in 802.11 standard, Security gaps in 802.11, Keys establishment, authentication, confidentiality, integrity in WEP, WPA, WPA2 protocols. Security in Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs) (Keys establishment, authentication, confidentiality, integrity). Bluetooth network and security. Firewalls and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
